Off to Diamond Bar in a bit to visit mom and dad...take them their St. Arbucks drinks... visit...help out...and hang some solar stars on the patio for my mom to enjoy at night. They are from Target and are very cool. 20 bucks a strand...30' long... totally solar. I have them on my patio and on a couple of bushes around the yard....
Construction week three begins tomorrow here, and I think by the end of this week, i'll have drywall and tile done. Next week should be the finishing touches, putting in the tub, shower, toilet, sinks, etc... totally worth it!

Good Morning,
A little late getting here this morning. I went downstairs and cut Dougs hair yesterday, and I totally over did it. I don't now if I told you all, but my brain sends messages to my legs, but because of all the nerve damage right now, they don't get the message....hence I fall over, I fall down, I am just better off sitting on my recliner and doing nothing. FOUR more days, I cannot wait, I am so tired of this. I got the directions for recovery, I can't bend, twist or lift for 3 weeks. Gee wondering if I can do to the bathroom. I can shower, that always makes you feel better and no stamples, AMEN to that! I was supposed to go out and have lunch with Kirsten and Kevin and I fell over like a tree, so that ended me doing anything. I sure hope that can stop by on the way home, I would love to see them.
Today brings nothing. Dougie made a great dinner last night, I had steak for the first time without any problems in 2 1/2 years. Some veggies, ooo, he just did a great job cooking that stuff. Nothing else will happen. He will go out and spray to keep the ants out of the house, Hopefully this stuff I ordered will stop them totally.

I won't even say it, because we all know I'm studying all day again.
I do need to get a 5-mile run in today or tomorrow to keep up with my training. I'm trying to decide whether to attempt it today or just wear my running clothes to the test tomorrow with a fanny pack and then run home. I need to check the distance, but I'm sure it's at least 5 mies.
So off to sipping
and working problems. I'm excited because yesterday Golden West opened their Nursing Application period, so one of my friends and I will be applying there this week, possibly at Rio Hondo this week or next. We'll also be attending the Cypress Workshop and seeing a Nursing Counselor there in the next two weeks. Then Cypress opens their enrollment beginning of September. Then Long Beach in October or November, but I'm getting ahead of myself.

Today doesn't bring much.. more packing up of stuff... hopefully going to see a movie and then taking a walk. I need to start walking more now that I can do it a little better.
Other than that...just hoping to stay cool and relax.

Been up 'camping', if you can call staying in a 5th wheel trailer
'camping' since Friday. Just now getting things together to go home and start the work week all over again. Good side is we will be back up here next Friday for another wonderful 3 days.
Haven't done a whole lot other than carving, sleeping and just general relaxing. Had a nice WOW moment: our next door neighbors (camping) haven't seen me since Memorial weekend...the husband !! His wife had to tell him who I was!! I guess 50lbs (from the side view anyway) makes a difference ROTLF ^_^
Well, gotta get back to loading up the trunk...our weather is gorgeous...mid 80's!..hope you all have a good evening
